The Inquiry will be holding a further preliminary hearing for its investigations into ‘Core UK decision-making and political governance – Scotland (Module 2A)’
The preliminary hearing will be held at Dorland House, 121 Westwood Terrace, London, W2 6BU (map) on Thursday 26 October at 10.30am.
A preliminary hearing is a legal hearing which considers procedural issues relating to the conduct of future public hearings and the Inquiry’s investigations.
At the hearing there will also be updates from the Inquiry Counsel on Rule 9 requests, evidence gathering from the Scottish government and meetings with Core Participants. In addition the Inquiry will set out in more detail plans for this future module.
Public hearings for ‘Core UK decision-making and political governance – Scotland (Module 2A)’ are planned to take place in Edinburgh from Tuesday 16 January 2024 to Thursday 1 February 2024.
