Every Story Matters

Records

In September 2024, the UK Covid-19 Inquiry published the first record of what it has heard through Every Story Matters. This first record focuses on people’s experiences of the United Kingdom’s healthcare systems during the pandemic. The record is made up of anonymised stories submitted by contributors to help produce a themed report, which will help the Chair, Baroness Hallett, to reach conclusions and make recommendations for the future.

The Inquiry’s first Every Story Matters record brings together people’s healthcare experiences. It covers the experiences of healthcare professionals and patients across both primary care and hospital, as well as emergency and urgent care, end-of-life care, maternity care, shielding, Long Covid and more.
